Meetup checklist

What to bring for a comfortable night under the stars

A few simple essentials help you settle in quickly, stay comfortable, and focus on enjoying the sky with the group.

Warm layers

Temperatures can fall quickly after sunset, even on clear evenings.

Red-light flashlight

A softer light helps protect night vision once the sky darkens.

Chair or blanket

A comfortable seat makes longer observing stretches much easier.

Binoculars optional

Helpful to have, but never required for a rewarding first visit.

Weather awareness

A quick check before heading out helps you dress and plan well.
